MANAGING FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
Proven leadership strategies that align people, processes, and accountability to drive measurable results.
THE NEED
As senior associates and managers take on increasing responsibility for supervising junior talent, many default to what they know best: solving the problem for them. While efficient in the short term, this approach often fails to create lasting behavior change. Issues such as missed deadlines, inconsistent work quality, or difficulty prioritizing tend to resurface, creating frustration for both manager and team member.
WE CAN HELP
This highly interactive workshop equips participants with a practical, repeatable framework for managing performance conversations that actually lead to change. Participants learn how to move from “fixing the problem” to coaching for ownership, buy-in, and sustained improvement.
Through coached role play and real-world application, participants will learn how to:
- Address performance issues early and directly – without damaging the relationship.
- Ask effective, non-judgmental questions that uncover root causes.
- Listen for what’s really driving behavior (time pressures, confidence, competing demands).
- Motivate change by clearly connecting improvement to what matters to the individual.
- Collaboratively design solutions that stick.
HOW WE WORK
This is not a lecture. Participants spend the majority of the session actively practicing with peers in realistic scenarios drawn from their own work experience. Our instructors provide live coaching, feedback, and targeted guidance to help participants refine their approach in real time.
The result: managers leave with confidence, clarity, and a framework they can immediately use.
